Gramoxone is a unique, fast acting, non-selective, contact herbicide for control of most of the weeds with varied uses in a wide variety of crops.
Used by millions of growers, even after 50 years, Gramoxone is still one of the most widely used herbicides in the world with protective application.
Gramoxone is revolutionizing weed control by replacing the time-consuming chore of hand weeding.
The incredible success of GRAMOXONE is built on its unique features, its mode and speed of action, its versatility in terms of weather as well as its environmental behavior.
Features of Gramoxone
Quickly kills the weeds
Controls a wide spectrum of weeds
Withstands rainfall and stays longer
Benefits of Gramoxone
Using gramoxone protects against soil erosion, conserves water quality and enhances biodiversity
On the farm
Gramoxone controls weeds faster than any other herbicide, increasing productivity.
Using gramoxone reduces manual labor requirements and investment.
No damage to other plant parts.
Safe to soil and ground water.
Stops Crop-Weed competition immediately
Mode of action
During photosynthesis, Superoxide is generated, which damages the cell membrane & the cytoplasm. This is quickly followed by appearance of brown desiccated tissue. The active ingredient, paraquat, is deactivated when it reaches soil by rapidly binding to soil particles and does not have a negative effect on ground water or soil organisms, even after years of repeated applications.
